Four Belles Earn All-America Honors

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College STUNT had four student-athletes named CSCA All-America on Sunday. Junior Erin Monnier (Indianapolis, IN), sophomores Bella Arreola (Brookfield, IL) and Haley Pieroni (Littleton, CO), and freshman Regan Joyce (Urbandale, IA) were all named Second Team All-America.

Monnier finished the season competing in the second most rounds for the Belles as she played in 448 on the season. She would also finish the year with the most points scored for the Belles as earned 352 points throughout the year. Monnier was one of six student-athletes to finish with a power ranking above 10, finishing with the joint second highest on the team with a 10.519. At the National Championships, she led the team with 74 rounds played while scoring a team high 66 points and earned All-Tournament First Team honors.

Arreola finished the year with the fifth highest number of rounds played, 410, while ranking sixth on the team in points scored with 265. Arreola was also one of six student-athletes to finish with a power ranking above 10, finishing with the joint second highest on the team with a 10.519. At the National Championships, Arreola played a pivotal role for the Belles, scoring 44 points in 54 rounds played while recording a team high 3.037 power ranking and also earned All-Tournament First Team honors.

Pieroni played in the third most rounds for the Belles on the year with 442. She would also rank second on the team in total points scored with 344. Pieroni was one of six student-athletes to finish with a power ranking above 10, finishing with the joint highest on the team with a 10.630. At the National Championships, Pieroni ranked second in rounds played and points scored with 72 rounds and 64 points and earned All-Tournament Second Team honors.

Joyce played in the most rounds for Saint Mary's this season, finishing with 452 rounds played. She also ranked third on the team in points scored with 321. Joyce was one of six student-athletes to finish with a power ranking above 10, finishing with the joint highest on the team with a 10.630. A the National Championships, she played in 63 rounds while scoring 53 points for a 2.556 power ranking.

Belles took home their best finish at Nationals as they took a third place finish after a hard-fought battle with George Fox University in the semi finals. The Belles finished the season with a 13-14 overall record and took home the first ever MACC Championship after sweeping the competition for the second straight season. Saint Mary's took their highest ranking into Nationals, ranked third in the country, and went 3-2 on the weekend with both losses coming to rival George Fox.
