NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College STUNT fell in their first two games of the season, falling to Lewis University, 23-6, and falling to Malone University, 23-2.
 
Saint Mary's vs Lewis
Saint Mary's had a slow start to the season as they went into halftime with a 5-0 deficit. Lewis took two points in the first quarter while taking three in the second quarter from routines 1, 2, and 3.
 
Lewis continued to show out as the Belles tried to mount their comeback, coming up short 23-6. The Belles would take points in five separate rounds while taking two points in round two of the fourth quarter in routine two.
 
Saint Mary's vs Malone
Malone would control the first half, going into the halftime break with a 7-0 advantage. The Pioneers would sweep the second quarter after taking three points in the first.
 
Malone continued their strong day into the second half, taking points in each round. Saint Mary's would take two points in quarter four round two in routine two from jumps and tumbling and pyramids and tosses.
 
UP NEXT FOR THE BELLES
Saint Mary's returns home next weekend as they host their second annual Valentine's Tournament on February 13-15. The Belles will take on Buena Vista University and George Fox University on Friday before taking on Maryville University and Centenary College (LA) on Saturday. Saint Mary's will close out the event on Sunday hosting St. Edwards University and the University of Michigan.
