HOLLAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Tennis kicked off their fall season at the Hope Tournament in Holland, MI this past weekend. The Belles were one of seven highly competitive programs competing at the event.
Singles
Senior Sophia Pischalko (Granger, IN) led the team with a win in consolation in the D-Draw bracket on Friday.
Doubles
The Belles took home three doubles victories on Saturday, Pischalko and junior Shannon Dudy (Glenview, IL) earned a 6-1 win over Ohio Northern in the A-Draw. Junior Lanie Brant (Stevensville, MI) and freshman Addy Wilkinson (Sellersburg, IN) earned a 6-4 win over Hope in the C-Draw. Sophomores Maria Manzella (Mokena, IL) and Olivia Closson (Edwardsburg, MI) rounded out the wins for the Belles with a 6-4 win over Ohio Northern in the RR-Draw.
UP NEXT FOR THE BELLES
Saint Mary's will host Spring Arbor University on Wednesday for a scrimmage before heading back north for the ITA Regional Tournament in Kalamazoo, MI on September 25-27.
