NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College Tennis senior
Emma Kealy (Hudson, OH), juniors
Anna Gardner (Houston, TX) and
Sophia Pischalko (Granger, IN) and sophomore
Shannon Dudy (Glenview, IL) were named College Sport Communicators Academic All-District for NCAA Division III. This is the third year in a row earning the honor for Kealy, the second year in a row for both Gardner and Pischalko, and the first time for Dudy.

To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Award, the student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials and at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale). They must have reached a sophomore athletic and academic standing at the institution and must have completed at least one full year at the institution (transfer students are immediately eligible).

Kealy, a nursing major, tallied a 31-22 overall record, ranking fifth on the team in wins, and was named All-MIAA First Team as she led the Belles this season. She went 16-10 in singles play while adding a 15-12 doubles record. Kealy also went an impressive 7-1 in MIAA singles play while adding a nine match win streak. She also broke the program's all-time wins record with her doubles win with fellow senior
Evelyn Demblans-Dechans (Missoula, MT) against the University of Minnesota Morris, her 119th career win. She finishes her career as the all-time wins leader with 132 career wins.

Gardner, a biology major, went 34-18 overall, ranking third on the team in wins, and was named All-MIAA Second Team for her performances this season. She went 14-12 in singles play but broke out as a stand out doubles player, going 20-6 at the number three spot. In doubles play, Gardner and her partner, sophomore
Odessa Norton (Carmel, IN) started the season on a 10 match winning streak while also winning 18 of their first 19 matches. Gardner surpassed 100 career wins with her come from behind, third set victory at the number two singles position against Adrian College.

Pischalko, an accounting major, added a 33-19 overall record in her second season with the program, ranking fourth in wins. She went 14-12 in singles play while tallying a 19-7 record in doubles. Pischalko posted a 12-4 record in conference play, ranking second on the team in MIAA wins while going 6-2 in both singles and doubles play.

Dudy, an accounting major, tallied a 36-17 overall record in her sophomore season, ranking second on the team in wins. She went 22-5 in singles play while going 14-12 in doubles. She also went an impressive 7-1 in MIAA play at the number three singles spot. Dudy closed out the season strong as she won an incredible 10 of her final 11 singles matches and never lost more than two matches in a row all season.

The Belles finished the season with an 18-8 overall record while going 6-2 in MIAA play. The program reached the MIAA Tournament Semi Finals for the 13th straight year before falling to Calvin University, 4-1.
