NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College Basketball fell to Adrian College, 75-56, on Saturday afternoon as they celebrated their three seniors. The Belles fall to 7-12 (2-8 MIAA) on the year while the Britons improve to 8-10 (4-6 MIAA).

Albion set the tone early in the first quarter, with Saint Mary's hanging on as the Britons jumped to a 16-10 lead after the opening 10 minutes. Sophomore
Kate Passinault (Grand Rapids, MI) snagged two rebounds along with five Belles getting on the board in the first. The Belles held the Britons to a 35.3% field goal percentage.
Saint Mary's got into a rhythm in the second quarter, going into the half down nine, 37-28. The Belles shot 61.5% from the field with junior
Kate Restovich (St. Louis, MO) adding two crucial threes and finishing the quarter with eight points. Outlaw also tallied eight, continuing her physicality down low.
Saint Mary's tried to hold on to the momentum throughout the second half, but the Brits outscored the Belles 22-13 in the third quarter, pushing their advantage to 59-41. Freshman
Liv Fry (Fort Wayne, IN) added five to the board with three rebounds.
Throughout the fourth, the Belles continued to battle, matching closely to Albion with 15 points in the final ten minutes. Albion's depth and free throw advantage out battled the Belles as they finished the game 75-56.
Restovich led the Belles with 13 points, shooting 90% on the day. Fry chipped in ten on the day with Outlaw finishing with nine. Passinault pulled down a team high five rebounds. Sophomore
Ella Notaro (Crystal Lake, IL) recorded a game high four steals on the defensive end.
UP NEXT FOR THE BELLES
After a quick bye week, Saint Mary's will head to Grand Rapids, MI to take on Calvin University on Saturday, January 31 at 1pm. The Belles will then return on the road for a mid-week matchup at Kalamazoo College at 7pm on February 4.
